September is the Month of Angels: Let's celebrate them!

The month of September is the month of Angels, the mighty beings who watch over us and protect us since the creation of the world.

God has placed those wonderful creatures next to us to protect us night and day, all along this earthly journey. And September is the month of all Angels. It is the month we use to celebrate the gift that God gave us: the Angels, the supernatural beings that oversee our life journey, sending us signs, guiding us and helping us solve our problems.

Our life would be much more complicated without their presence, indeed!

What does ‘Angel’ mean?

The term “Angel” comes from the Latin word “Angelus” which in its turn, comes from the Greek “ἄγγελος” having the meaning of messenger, in this case, “messenger of God”. An Angel is a messenger of Divine Love whose compassionate actions make a positive difference in all human beings’ lives.

The Angels are just waiting for us to invite them into our world. If we want to receive the Angels’ help, we have to call and pray to them because Angels cannot intervene in our lives unless we ask them to do so. They respect our free will. The sacred law of free will doesn't allow them to intervene in our lives without our permission. Remember that every time we ask for help, an Angel fulfills their purpose. The immediate help of angels is available to all of at any time and at any place. Invite and welcome them into your life.

Each of us is entrusted to a Guardian Angel, whose only purpose is that of helping us.

The Jesuit theologian Francisco Suarez (1548-1617), in his De Angelis (VI and XIX), established that the functions of the Guardian Angel, towards each of us, summarise in seven very specific tasks:

1. Free ourselves from the dangers that threaten our body or soul;

2. Guide us to do good and avoid evil;

3. Keep demons, temptations and bad thoughts away from us;

4. Present our prayers to God;

5. Pray for us;

6. Correct our defects and favor our conversion;

7. Accompany us in the final encounter with God, to lead our soul to heaven. And, should we need to purify ourselves in Purgatory, the Guardian Angel will have the task of consoling us, waiting for our entry into the Paradise.

The Guardian Angel always takes care of us, in every moment of our existence, since this is the task that God has entrusted to him and he, for love of the Lord, carries it out with great charity and diligence. He is our closest friend. Each one of us, however, is free to welcome or reject God and his help, which also comes from the Angel placed at our side; for this reason, the more we invoke our Angel with Prayer, the more he, feeling challenged by us, can work in our favor.

Remember this: every prayer is being listened to, at any time, by your Angels. Every prayer is answered and Grace is always granted. You are unconditionally loved by Angels.

Imagine that your desire has come true. Do not focus on ‘how’ it has happened, but only on the fact that it ‘has happened’.

Imagine what you would like to achieve in your life, then start to feel as if you had already achieved it. In a prayer, what always matters is the feeling of being and of having what you wish for.

Imagine, for example, that you wish help from your Angels in manifesting a new job. You’ll have to be in fine tune with the essence of what you want and ‘see’ yourself in your new job.

You need to dive deep into the vibes and feelings of having what you want to create.

When you set an intention with a mindset of openness to receive, you affirm that what you are seeking is already being provided, is already created and made available for your use.

As you learn to clear out blocks, patterns, and karmic connections that no longer serve you, you are better able to receive your heart’s desires. You start to see that all is in Divine Order and you can relax more into acceptance of what flows in your life.

Be Grateful

To thank the Angels is really important, but not for them, because giving is their true nature. They give for the pure joy of giving. To thank them is important for you because gratitude always brings more blessings. The feeling of gratitude is like a signal that you send to the Universe showing that you are open to receive. It’s like a powerful magnet that attracts complementary energies into your life.

So do not forget to celebrate the Angels during the whole month of September. The Angels are listening!
