The Spiritual Way To Attracting Abundance

I would like to talk to you about attracting abundance – in an economy which in many places is struggling.

I am not talking just about positive thinking here, as although positive thinking has its place, it does not matter how much you say “money is coming to you” if your underlying belief is worry and lack.

If that’s the case, that is the energy that will attract your circumstances.

The key here is creating the correct energy and then getting out of your own way. Here is an example.

Abundance

If you hate the work you are doing and are just turning up so you can survive, then it is not going to create energy that attracts abundance.

If what you do makes your “soul smile” then the delight and joy that you radiate will attract good things back to you.

Attracting abundance has to start inside you. The more we share the more comes back to us.

Gratitude is a key factor in creating abundance as it keeps our energy aligned with the thought that the supply is unlimited.

As we hear daily reports on how tough the economy is, it can be very easy to slip into the mindset of scarcity and lack which then will create more of the same.

If you are struggling with this it can help to take a moment to write down all of the wonderful things in your life. If you are really struggling then breathing in and out is one to write down.

Abundance through Gratitude

Gratitude energy unlocks abundance in our life and can turn chaos into order, our stress into joy, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend, puts our past into perspective, brings us peace and creates a positive outlook for the future.

To experience gratitude you need to be in the present moment.

Dwelling on the past is pointless and a waste of energy and emotion. Take the should haves, could haves and would haves out of your life. You cannot change what has happened.

It is equally as pointless obsessing over the future. Plan, but don’t let the planning take over to a point where you cannot enjoy the present time with what and who is with you at that moment.

Getting rid of clutter also helps as clinging onto items reflects an underlying attitude that you won’t get any more. Give away or throw out what you don’t need to make room for what is to come.

Not only can you help someone else, you will free your mind of that scarcity mentality, so clearing up our environments also clears out our mind.

Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one getting burned.

Meditation

  • Sit comfortably, relax, close your eyes and breathe.
  • Smile and imagine the good things and people in your life and what you are grateful for.
  • Now imagine what it is you need and want and smile and feel grateful.
  • Say thank you.
  • When scarcity or lack thoughts come to you, take a moment and say ‘cancel and erase’ and spend a moment imagining the opposite.
  • Smile and say thank you.

Are you ready to create your abundance?
