15 Things You Didn't Know About Guardian Angels

Here are 15 things you didn't know about Angels and Guardian Angels.

  1. Angels like to get dressed up (kind of).

Many people used to think angels always had halos and wings or were depicted as babies. However, Angels are pure spirits and do not have physical bodies. However, in rare instances, they may take on a human form if necessary. It's like when we dress up for Halloween, but their costumes are always perfect! I wish I could create costumes as well as they do.

2. They are super-geniuses

It's fascinating to learn that angels don't process thoughts like humans do. They're super-geniuses and have instantaneous insights that allow them to reach conclusions without intermediate steps. They spend their time contemplating everything from humans to other angels and God.

3. They may even be laughing at us right now.

Their intelligence enables them to find humor in the most unexpected places. They're not laughing at us for being mean; our quirks amuse them. I'm curious if my guardian angel is now chuckling at my oddities.

4. Angels are snowflakes.

It's fascinating to learn that every single angel is unique and different from any other angel, so much so that each angel could be considered a different species. This means that every angel has their very own, very distinct personality.

5. Angels can't get bored

Angels can't get bored because they are outside of our space-time, which means that they never wait and can't get bored. After all, they are part of the immaterial world. Also, guardian angels are never bored because humans are the subject of their attention, and humans don't end; they keep going. So it's possible that my guardian angel is always fascinated by my quirks and never gets tired of watching over me.

6. They love us.

It naturally follows that love follows knowledge. Because angels have the power to think (they are conscious) and the ability to choose (they have free will), angels will do good for us, which is the precise definition of love. They have no motive except to see us in Heaven, where we belong.

7. Angels are telepaths.

I always imagined that my guardian angel would be watching over me from above, but I recently learned that angels don't have a physical body. Instead, they communicate with each other by instantly sending their thoughts.

8. Angels are always in contact with God

And even when they're watching over us, they're glorifying God and receiving whatever God wants them to know. It's incredible to think that since they exist outside of space, they can be present for more than one thing at any moment.

9. They contain the space in which they operate

They contain the space in which they operate, which means they can act on Earth without ever leaving Heaven. It's comforting to know that my guardian angel always surrounds me, even though I can't see them.

10. Angels are more beautiful than we can imagine.

Because they are more like God than we are, they are more beautiful because God is Beauty. Artists try to capture the beauty of angels, but they will always fall drastically short because nothing in this world can describe or show such beauty.

11. They respect hospitality.

Have you ever heard of the ancient Jewish tradition of seeing if an angel has visited your home? It involves having some food around and offering it to the angel. You can use cookies, candies, or even bananas if that's what you have. Count the number of treats before you offer one to the angel, and then count again after they leave. If there is one less than what you started with, it is said that the angel assumed a body while they were there. It's a fascinating tradition.

12. Angels don't have a gender.

It's important to remember that gender is biological and doesn't necessarily dictate one's personality or spirit. While masculinity and femininity can be present in an individual's character, it's important to note that these traits transcend biology. For example, in the Bible, all angels appear masculine, but this likely has more to do with the cultural norms of the time when males held traditional roles and performed tasks such as guarding and delivering messages. However, based on biology alone, angels can possess more feminine or masculine personalities without being classified as male or female.

13. They appear to women more than men.

Women seem more intuitive and receptive, which may be why. But on the other hand, angels are solely intuitive beings, so they are on the same mental wavelength as the female populace.

14. Angels are fearsome.

All angels are good; that is all they can do for us. However, good does not mean being comfortable. There is a reason that in the Bible, almost all the angels have to tell the people, "Do not be afraid."

15. They inspire us.

Have you ever experienced that moment of inspiration that strikes you in the middle of the night? It's like an idea that we can immediately write it down. And sometimes, those creative impulses can lead us to do things that are out of the ordinary but are highly fruitful. These moments are little gifts from above, encouraging and guiding us toward something greater.

😇
Angels are real, and one is protecting, guarding, guiding, enlightening, and loving you at this very moment.

Make it a habit to acknowledge and thank your guardian angel more. When you're having a rough day, pray to them with one of the first prayers that I ever learned:

Angel of God, my guardian dear,
To whom God's love commits me here,
Ever this day, be at my side,
To light and guard, to rule and guide.
Amen
