June 5 Full Strawberry Moon: The Moon that Makes Your Dreams Come True

Every Full Moon has a powerful influence over our lives, and this upcoming Full Moon, known as the Strawberry Moon, is no exception.

June 5 Full Strawberry Moon: The Moon that Makes Your Dreams Come True

This year has been tremendously important for all those who firmly believe that planets (especially the Moon) exert a powerful influence over our energetic field and our lives.

Especially for those who, like us, are Moon Lovers, this year has already given us so much energy to recharge our batteries and get ready for a fresh start. This new Full Strawberry Moon (happening on June 5th) follows a string of three powerful Supermoons. The first Supermoon of the year occurred on March 8th and was called the Crow Moon (or Worm Moon)  .The second Supermoon of the year was the Pink Moon and occurred on April 7th. The third and last of the three powerful Supermoons of this year has been the recent Full Flower Moon, the Moon that makes your life blossom.

It occurred on May 7th. But every Full Moon has a powerful influence over our lives, and this upcoming Full Moon, known as the Strawberry Moon, is no exception.

The Strawberry Moon will indeed look a bit smaller than the three previous SuperMoons because this Full Moon will be at its apogee.

Its distance from the sun will be further than a regular SuperMoon, but this does not mean that it will be less powerful.
Rather, the Strawberry Moon is going to bring into our lives some of the most powerful life-changing energies of them all. When these phenomenons occur, we all experience an energetic shift from one dimension to another, and this is going to happen this time when the Full Moon will be at its highest point of visibility (if the weather allows us to fully see it…).

The Strawberry Full Moon won’t appear to our eyes in a bright red color. It is called Strawberry Moon after the Algonquin Tribes, who used to give a ‘nickname’ to each Full Moon in accordance and in harmony with the harvesting and planting season in which the Full Moon occurred. As Cherokee Billie says: “June’s Full Strawberry Moon got its name because the Algonquin tribes knew it as a signal to gather ripening fruit. It was often known as the Full Rose Moon in Europe and the Honey Moon.”

This Full Moon is going to be a Moon full of positive energy in all fields of life.

Because it is related to a harvesting moment (picking the strawberries), we have to use wisely this time of the year to gather all our dreams and intentions. We have to put a bit of order about our priorities, about what really makes us feel good rather than about what is just ordinary routine. This does not mean that we have to give up on anything. It surely means that we have now, eventually, the chance to clear all the doubts about our existence and make room for the things that bring joy and contentment into our lives.

The time has come to embrace our dreams and protect our hearts from negativity.

This Full Moon is telling us that, likewise strawberry fruits are ready to be picked at this time of the year, so are our deepest dreams and desires. Now it's the right time for you to pick your intentions and make them real!

Have you ever asked you why the month of June has so many weddings? It’s because the June’s full Moon (which is not red as you might accidentally imagine) is a Moon of bright yellow color, very much like honey. The term honeymoon originates from this particular color of the June’s Full Moon.

Now a question arises: is there a connection between moon cycles and our mood?

The lunar cycles have been closely followed and worked within many contexts throughout history, and all over the world.

We are all aware of the moon’s influence over the ocean and its tides, as well as over the growth of fruits and vegetables. Since time immemorial, planting is done following the lunar and solar cycles. But the Moon has a powerful influence on our own bodies and minds as well. It is a powerful influence that simply cannot be ignored.

But can the moon influence our emotional and psychic bodies as well? The answer is “Yes”.

Here below we have listed the most significant moon phases and their effects on our overall mood and our actions.

When the Strawberry Full Moon comes on June 5, you’ll notice the patterns and connections between the lunar cycle and your feelings.

New Moon

The new moon is the beginning phase of the lunar cycle when seeds are planted and intentions are set.

The new moon carries fresh energy with it and may give us a boost on our search for clarity of purpose within ourselves.

First Quarter

The First Quarter is often referred to as the ‘waxing moon’.

By this time, the visible portion of the moon has grown greatly. The Moon’s light is becoming brighter. The first quarter moon is a time when we become eager to take action because we can literally feel the high energy level in the air.

This is one of the best times of the year to tap into the ‘here and now’ and accomplish things.

Full Moon

The Full Moon always carries with it an exciting moment. The light-filled moon, fully in her mighty power, is potent. It looks just spectacular. The lunar energy has heightened even more than in the first quarter and is now in full force.

The full moon always brings a time of completion or manifestation. Our emotions are heightened during the Full Moon. Our feelings are stronger, more action-focused, and everything seems to work at a faster pace. Our creative energies are heightened at the Full Moon.

Third Quarter

The moon is now waning. Her light reached its peak and is dimming. The waning moon is a time of release. It is a transition moment. The waning moon is not as powerful as the Full Moon, nor is it a carrier of fresh energies like the New Moon. During the Third Quarter, we are prone to becoming more sensitive and aware of endings. Our energy is moving inward again, towards the more yin and feminine time of the dark moon.

The third quarter moon is more reflecting and releasing in nature, so try to honor the natural rhythms of life and go with the flow.

Waning Crescent

The waning crescent moon is a beautiful time to bring closure and endings. It is quite common to feel a bit tired or even exhausted by recent trials we have endured. It is also the right time for releasing both emotional and physical energies that have caused us to suffer, or have simply bothered us. You can use this time for cleansing your spirit, and even for doing some homework like decluttering the whole house.

The waning crescent moon, also called the ‘dark moon’ gives us more room for inner search, for yoga, and for all the kind of activities that bring a sense of rejuvenation into our lives. It is time to prepare for a rebirth, a new bloom, and a new and brighter attitude towards life. True happiness is now just a few steps ahead of us!

So now you know everything about this upcoming Full Strawberry Moon and also how the lunar cycles influence your mood.
Enjoy this time of the year and make the best out of it!
