December's Full Cold Moon rises on Saturday, December 18, 2021! This article reveals everything you need to know about the Cold Moon and what makes it the most special moon of the year!

First of all, why is it called the Cold Moon?

According to Almanac, "December's full Moon is most commonly known as the Cold Moon. It is a Mohawk name that conveys the frigid conditions of this time of year, when the winter cold fastens its grip and the nights become long and dark."

What does the Cold Moon mean at a spiritual level?

The upcoming December Full Moon brings us an important message for our future. This Moon gathers all the good and bad things that have happened during this year. Usually, we 'do the maths' to find out the pros and cons at the end of every year. What we gained so far and what we have lost along this troubled year.

What lessons have we learned from this year? How can we make the best out of our intentions and set the road for the future?

These are not easy times for the majority of us. Since the pandemic started to spread across the globe, we have witnessed changes that we could not even imagine seeing in a lifetime. Everything has changed in just two years, and the future is still uncertain.

But one thing we learned for sure: we must stay strong and have faith. Everything will be fine, sooner or later. We do not have to worry about our future. It will be bright for all those who believe in their inner power.

It's time to stop feeling powerless. You have a lot going for yourself!

Now, the first thing to do to unleash your true potential is to get rid of the old habits, negative energies, and negative people.

The motto is: declutter.

Here are three quotes that can help you understand the meaning of 'declutter':

"What I know for sure is that when you declutter — whether it's your home, your head, or your heart — it is astounding what will flow into that space that will enrich you, your life, and your family." - Peter Walsh

"Clutter is not just physical stuff. It's old ideas, toxic relationships, and bad habits. It's anything that does not support your better self."

— Eleanor Brown

"Remove the emotional and physical clutter from your life so you can soar."

— Judith Orloff

During this year we have experienced:

  • emotional traumas,
  • fear of personal freedom,
  • anxiety about the future.

All the things mentioned above have distracted us from the true meaning of life.

Yes! the pandemic has been quite a challenge, but if you're reading this, it means that you are still 'alive and kicking.'

Yes! We have indeed lost our 'physical' sense of freedom. For example, we can travel with restrictions. Certain countries still do not allow foreign customers to enter their borders, and on and on. But it's also true that we are still free of thinking, manifesting our ideas, and making plans for the future.

And, last but not least, yes! We have less personal freedom, but we can still cultivate good relationships with our best and most resonating friends. Even if 'socially distanced,' we can still communicate with friends and relatives. We are freer than we think. At least for now.

But what becomes more important nowadays is to get rid of the old, of the negative energies and people that we mentioned earlier in this article. Everything or everyone that prevents us from expressing our true nature must be blessed and let go.

There’s a famous saying that goes: you cannot change the past but you can learn from it.

The amount of things, people, and situations that affect our lives is beyond our comprehension. Sometimes, we are just used to certain annoying persons or situations. For example, parents that we have never liked, friends that are no longer 'the good friends' they used to be, people who want to take advantage of us.

Well, we must remove all of the above from our lives.

Think of your life as a car. If you want to start and move forward, you have first to release the handbrake. Otherwise, the vehicle will move slowly, with difficulty, or it won't move at all. Despite your efforts, you cannot go at full throttle in your life if some persons or situations work as a handbrake that stops you from achieving your dreams and desires.

So use this last Full Moon of the Year to declutter your existence and prepare for a significant shift in your life.

You reverse to be happy and fulfilled.

Enjoy the Full Cold Moon!
